So, the project was to take this $100 guitar, not invest any money, and have it play and sound like a $1,000 guitar!

A guitar can be played beautifully with a few minor adjustments, but only if you are skilled and experienced enough. If you’re having trouble with your guitar’s action, intonation, truss rod, or saddle height, having it set up by a professional will ensure that you get the best results. If the guitar is not properly set up, it is not recommended that players practice on a daily basis. A guitar should be serviced every 6 to 8 months to keep it in top shape.

I just checked out the new Extreme album, and Nuno is absolutely killing it! Like, guitar god killing it. I've never been a big Gary Cherone guy (especially since that disaster with Van Halen). He sucks.
But, this new track has a real STP flavor to it (which I love) and the guitar playing is out of control!
Definitely check it out.... you won't be disappointed. Nice to see a band like this make such a comeback, and not feel like a retread lame thing. It's fresh, and really good.
I wonder how many young folks will now discover them?
