"You mean I should have a professional guitar setup done on a brand new guitar?". Exactly!

Even the manufacturers know that new guitars, right off the factory floor, are in need of this service. While the techs at the factories do their best to setup the guitars to "factory spec", that spec is not right for most players.
It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a pro, the guitar needs to be set up for you! On top of the fact that things change during shipping and storage. Or someone at your local retailer decided to change some things. Whatever the case is, make sure to get all of your guitars set up by a local professional that will do a custom job. Your guitar will play better, sound better, feel better.... everything.
And you will be much happier playing it.
